Reporting progress towards SDG 4
We develop methods and tools to enable education stakeholders to monitor and report their progress towards United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4.
Developing assessment capabilities
We work closely with education stakeholders to analyse and strengthen their assessment systems, and to increase their understanding and use of evidence-based approaches to learning.
Developing tools to build evidence
The GEM Centre develops tools that education stakeholders can use to gain evidence for improved policies, practices and investments, and to ultimately improve learning.
Describing evidence and gaps in education research
We review and analyse globally relevant education topics, and translate our findings into clear and actionable recommendations for policymakers, donors and practitioners.
