3 October 2017: As part of the Scottish Government’s National Improvement Framework and Improvement Plan for Scottish Education, every child in P1, P4, P7 and S3 will now undertake national standardised assessments covering aspects of reading, writing and numeracy over the course of the academic year.

The adaptive assessments are completed online and automatically marked by an online system, providing teachers with immediate diagnostic feedback to assist children in their learning progress.

ACER UK, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Australian Council for Educational Research, is delighted to be supporting the Scottish Government in implementing this world-class programme, integrating rigorous assessment practice with teacher professional judgment.

ACER UK has developed the Scottish National Standardised Assessments (SNSA) in partnership with SCHOLAR and Twig.
