The OECD released the international report for the 2018 Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) on 19 June 2019.
TALIS collects internationally comparable data on the learning environment and the working conditions of teachers and principals in schools across the world. The 2018 survey was the third cycle of TALIS, following surveys in 2013 and 2008.
Australia’s participation in TALIS 2018 was managed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). ACER will publish a national report that provides in-depth analysis of Australian results from TALIS, including a description of how results about teaching practices and training have changed between TALIS cycles, in late 2019.
