About PASA

Our friendly consultants are available to answer any questions you may have relating to PASA or PASMAP

Rather than focusing on what mathematics learners can and cannot do, PASA seeks to find out how students think about mathematical ideas underlying tasks.

By knowing how students approach tasks, teachers can plan and scaffold individual learning experiences.

Students with a greater awareness of mathematical pattern and structure tend to do better at mathematics. The good news is that every child’s AMPS can be improved by appropriate teaching.
