One of Australia’s leading I.T. recruitment company with majors contracts in the Banking, Telecommunications and Government sectors.

The need

To have a credible and validated process of assessing applicants for high profile / high stakes Project Director / Manager roles.     

Senior ACER Consultant worked with the client to develop a battery of tests to measure the suitability and relative strengths of candidates.  The testing process was validated and benchmarked by testing over 40 “Champion” Project Directors and Managers. As a result of this process, the client had a very accurate process to evaluate all future applicants for project management roles.

The solution

The tests used for this benchmarking study were ACER SelectACER Test of Abstract Reasoning (TAR) and the Work Personality Index (WPI)

The result

The client has been delighted with the results, especially feedback from their own clients. This benchmarking study has, in fact, generated significant interest in project management circles and has been presented in a number of National Project Management conferences.
