Partners

The Centre for Science of Learning @ ACER is a major partner in the Science of Learning Research Centre, which is a Special Research Initiative of the Australian Research Council. In the Centre researchers in education, neuroscience and cognitive psychology are working together with teachers to understand the learning process.

The SLRC comprises 25 chief investigators from across eight research organisations and is supported by nine partner organisations including the Queensland, Victorian and South Australian education departments.

The Centre for Science of Learning @ ACER brings to the SLRC collaborative its expertise in cognitive psychology and educational measurement to join with fellow researchers in education, neuroscience and cognitive psychology to work together with teachers to understand the learning process. We are leading the Measuring Learning strand of research in the SLRC and are represented on the SLRC Executive Committee and the Advisory Board.
