A reliable assessment informed by extensive research
ELMs assessments have been validated through item trials and psychometric research. The suite is also based on comprehensive framework that defines the constructs for assessing Reading Comprehension and Mathematics as described in the National Curriculum in England: Framework Document (2014) and the key stage documents for English and Mathematics. ELMs tests have also been trialled with pupils in England working within Years 2 to 10. Additionally, the assessments draw upon ACER’s extensive international program experience and are also designed for use by international schools delivering the National Curriculum in England.
