Description

Spelling Mastery

Learn how, in just 15-30 minutes a day, you will turn your students into confident, strategic and successful spellers!

Spelling Mastery is a program of six levels for primary students and Spelling Through Morphographs is a one-year catch up program for upper primary and high school students.

Phonemic, whole word and morphemic strategies are taught explicitly and systematically. The main aim of the programs is to have students transfer their spelling skills to their writing. They teach word lists, homonyms, spelling rules, contractions and meanings of affixes. The regular, inbuilt tests give students and teachers frequent feedback. Programs contain correction and fix up techniques plus constant and cumulative review. Lessons take only 15-30 minutes, so the programs are easy to implement school-wide or as single class.
